Behavioural Analysis for Couples
The present study compared the problem solving behaviour of distressed and non distressed married couples, and explored the “state” vs. “trait” nature of problem solving behaviour through comparison of married and non married couples. . Distressed married couples, relative to non distressed married couples, emitted a significantly greater proportion of negative problem solving behaviour, and a significantly smaller proportion of positive problem solving behaviour.
